If you realize and begin to accept that your vision of the world is but an interpretation of reality -- an interpretation that is permanently filtered through the tinted lenses of your own individual history and collective culture -- you will start to respect the other's interpretation of the same reality and perhaps begin to understand the consequential acts derived from that interpretation.
Then, you will be one step closer to tolerating, comprehending, humanizing the other -- and on your way to humanizing the earth.
